Welcome

I would like to personally welcome you to the University of Toronto Aesthetic Symposium and Breast Symposium web site. I hope to be able to welcome you in person at the annual Toronto Aesthetic meeting.

Drs. Tom Bell and Frank Lista and the organizing committee have worked hard to put together a first-class program for the Aesthetic Symposium this year.

The University of Toronto Educational Symposium, now known as the Toronto Aesthetic Meeting, began 41 years ago by Dr. W.R.N Lindsay. Over the years it has grown in strength and the feedback we receive annually from you, the attendees, is very helpful in planning the meeting from year to year, not only in terms of program content but also the preferred format.

With that in mind, Drs. Bell and Lista, have chosen to adhere to the same format as previous years, a format whereby we invite individual speakers, international leaders in their field, to spend the maximum amount of time teaching and interacting with the audience.

This format has proven popular in the past and we hope to continue it in the years to come.

The Toronto Breast Symposium, held on the first day of the 3-day event, is the counterpart to The Toronto Aesthetic Meeting.

The Toronto Breast Symposium combines aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, with a combination of local and international faculty.

In 2012, Dr. Mitchell Brown and his organizing committee have put together an impressive program for the Toronto Breast Symposium, which we are sure you will find highly instructive and enjoyable.

On behalf of the University of Toronto’s Division of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery I look forward to personally welcoming you to Toronto this spring.

Sincerely.

Dr. Dimitri Anastakis
Chair, Division of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery
Interim Vice Dean, Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development
